It's like the bc108 mini fuzz but with an extra silicon/germanium switch so you basically get two iconic fuzz types in one tiny box. The buffer switch helps to pair the fuzz with your signal chain better. But the biggest surprise was that the buffer switch also influences the volume pot behaviour on the guitar. When the buffer is activated, the volume increases linearly and allows for the smooth fuzz control via guitar volume pot. When disabled, the guitar volume is almost like 0/1 on-off switch between clean and distorted fuzz sounds. All in all, a good sounding fuzz with some extra features. The only thing I'm not so thrilled about is the Jimi's face graphic on the front, I don't like the idea of stomping on it - that's just wrong :/
