For the price, it's amazing and the Fender neck that I have fits it. If there's a downside, there are no strings through the body but you can see that in the photos but thankfully, you can get topload bridges. The only other downside is that the cavity for the control panel is too small for full-sized pots. Still, it's the perfect body for learning how to build a partscaster. It's also very light
