Vintage-style oscillators offer true real-time hard sync, and the unison engine stacks up to 9 layers with spread, gravity and drift control, so sounds can feel like analog gear pushed to the max.

Filtering and the Automation Suite

The heart of Cenere lies in its filtering. Modern SVF filter techniques allow real-time topology morphing, combined with analog modeling and saturation, and filter slopes can be varied from 12 to 96 dB/octave. The integrated automation suite modulates most parameters at audio rate, from rhythmic wobble basses to subtle, evolving textures, with click-to-link style modulation assignment. Velocity, aftertouch, MPE and note pitch can all drive modulation, and polyphonic portamento adds expressive glides.

Sophisticated Simplicity

While deep enough for professional sound designers, Cenere uses an intuitive signal flow that shows even novice users how the elements of a subtractive synthesizer fit together.
