Epiphone Prophecy Victory FR — Modern Performance Reimagined

The Epiphone Prophecy Victory FR Aqua Smoke Satin re-engineers the classic Victory body shape for modern high-gain players. A solid mahogany body carries a highly figured flame maple veneer beneath a deep Aqua Smoke Satin finish, pairing vintage-inspired aesthetics with contemporary hardware and electronics. Every element — from the thermally aged neck to the Fishman Fluence pickups — has been specified for speed, articulation, and tonal flexibility. The result is a guitar that feels equally at home on stage, in the studio, or in the practice room.

What Sets This Guitar Apart

Two features distinguish this model from typical modern double-cuts. The Dual-Axis Pickup Stabilization (DAPS) system anchors each Fishman Fluence humbucker directly to the body in a precision-machined pocket, eliminating traditional pickup rings. Reinforced with graphite rods, the thermally aged one-piece maple neck gives the HyperGlide profile long-term stability. Together they create a playing platform that holds its setup through demanding gigs.

Mahogany Body and Flame Maple Top — Tonal Foundation

The mahogany body provides focused midrange and strong sustain, while the flame maple veneer adds visual depth without altering the core tone. A satin finish keeps the surface smooth against the forearm during long sets.

• Body Material: Mahogany — focused midrange and tight low end
• Top Material: Flame Maple Veneer — adds visual depth without altering the core tone
• Body Finish: Satin keeps the figured maple grain visible and the surface smooth against the forearm

HyperGlide Neck and Compound-Radius Ebony Fingerboard

The thermally aged one-piece maple neck features a HyperGlide D profile that stays comfortable through long sessions, while graphite reinforcement rods maintain stability against temperature changes. The 25.5" scale length adds the string tension modern drop tunings require.

• Neck Material: 1-Piece Thermally Aged Maple with graphite reinforcement — long-term stability under aggressive playing
• Fingerboard: Ebony with 254–356 mm compound radius (10"–14") and 24 stainless steel frets
• Scale Length: 648 mm (25.5") with 43 mm nut width — ideal for drop tunings and modern string gauges

Fishman Fluence Pickups and Floyd Rose Tremolo

Two custom-voiced Fishman Fluence humbuckers deliver three distinct tonal voices — modern high-output active humbucker, vintage PAF-inspired humbucker, and single-coil-inspired clarity — accessed through push/pull controls. A Floyd Rose 1000 Series double-locking tremolo paired with an R3 locking nut keeps the guitar in tune through aggressive whammy techniques.

• Pickups: HH — Fishman Fluence humbuckers with three selectable voices and push/pull coil splits
• Bridge: Floyd Rose 1000 Series double-locking tremolo with R3 locking nut — tuning-stable dive-bombs and pull-ups
• Tuning Machines: Grover Mini Rotomatic locking with kidney buttons — precise, slip-free adjustments

Built for Modern Rock and Metal Players

The Prophecy Victory FR is the right choice for guitarists who play modern rock, metal, progressive, or djent styles and need a guitar that stays in tune under heavy tremolo use. Players who frequently drop tune will appreciate the 25.5" scale length, which keeps heavier string gauges taut and defined. Studio players also benefit from the Fishman Fluence active electronics, which let a single instrument cover high-gain rhythm work, clean single-coil textures, and vintage-flavored leads. The included Protector Ultralite case makes transport straightforward for gigging musicians, while the satin finish and black hardware suit players who prefer understated stage aesthetics.

The Prophecy Series — Icons Reforged

Epiphone's Prophecy series represents a full reimagining of the brand's most iconic body shapes, re-engineered from the ground up for contemporary performance. Rather than applying new finishes to existing designs, the Prophecy team rebuilt each model with longer scale lengths, graphite-reinforced necks, compound-radius ebony fingerboards, stainless steel frets, and Fishman Fluence active electronics. The Victory FR carries that philosophy into the double-cut category.
