ROAD RAGE captures each of these elements in isolation across various materials such as glass, metal, plastic, and rubber, allowing you to create crashes that are tailored to the action.

Three Recording Phases

This library features three distinct recording phases, each designed to capture different aspects of the dynamic range: studio sessions for clean, isolated components; scrapyard sessions utilizing heavy equipment for realistic impacts; and crane drops that provide the highest-energy material available.

Major impacts are recorded from multiple perspectives, including exterior M/S and A/B stereo, Ambisonic interior capture, and contact microphones on surfaces. This ensures that collisions are captured from both inside and outside the vehicle, providing a comprehensive sound experience.

Designed Edition Features

The Designed edition includes 90 pre-assembled crash sequences across six car types, two truck types, and two motorcycle types. Each vehicle type features various event types such as head-on collisions, rollovers, and scrapes, delivered in both exterior and interior versions for seamless editing. The truck sequences add heavier vehicle dynamics, while the motorcycle sequences provide agile crash sounds, all captured from the exterior perspective.
