Ibanez RGRB720-BKF Black 7-string Electric Guitar

The RG is the most recognizable and distinctive guitar in the Ibanez line. Three decades of metal have forged this high-performance machine, honing it for speed and strength. Whether you favor a hardtail (fixed) bridge or industry-leading locking tremolo system, the RG is a precision instrument.

The Iron Label line was originally developed with metal and nothing but metal in mind. They’re purposefully spartan, and you won’t find a feature here that doesn't contribute directly to the bone-rattling, earth-shattering tones these guitars pump out. Carrying forward that same philosophy, the next generation of Iron Label guitars takes this raw metal energy to a new level. They sport blacked-out looks, and their supercharged electronics amount to some of the heaviest-swinging metal axes Ibanez have ever produced.

The RGRB720 comes with an a 3pc Maple neck, an Ebony fretboard with luminescent side dots and a Nyatoh body. Furthermore, it features DiMarzio D Activator pickups, a dyna-MIX10 switching system with Alter switch and an Edge-Zero II tremolo.

Тype

Тype: Superstrat

The Superstrat is a type of electric guitar based on the design of the Stratocaster, but modified for a more aggressive style of playing, especially in the hard rock and metal genres. It has a solid body, often with powerful humbucker pickups for a more powerful and distorted sound. Superstrat guitars often have an improved tremolo system (like the Floyd Rose) and a faster neck for technical playing. This type of guitar is designed for the modern guitarist who demands more versatility and performance.

Finish

Finish: Satin

The satin finish is popular for its ability to combine the properties of both a glossy and matte finish. This type of finish provides a soft sheen, less intense than gloss but more pronounced than matte. This creates a smooth to touch, lightly reflective surface which gives an elegant and sophisticated appearance. The satin finish is ideal for those looking for a balance between visual appeal and convenience, as it can hide small imperfections and fingerprints better than glossy surfaces.

Body

Body: Nyatoh

Nyatoh is a medium-weight wood with characteristics similar to mahogany. It offers a warm, round tone with a strong mid-range and good sustain. It is more affordable and is often used as an alternative to more expensive woods. It offers a balanced sound suitable for a wide range of musical styles.

Neck

Neck: Maple

Maple is known for its strength and stability, making it ideal for necks that need to resist bending and warping.

Fretboard: Ebony

Ebony is a very hard and dense wood with a smooth surface and a rich, dark color. It offers a clear, articulate tone with excellent response. The ebony fingerboard is popular for its durability, speed and luxurious appearance, while offering excellent playability and precise tone.

Pickups Configuration: HH

The humbucker-humbucker configuration means that the guitar is equipped with two humbucker pickups. It offers a powerful, full sound with high output and low noise, ideal for rock and metal.
