D'Addario NYXLB100 Single Bass String

NYXL Bass Single String for Long-Scale Replacement

The D'Addario NYXLB100 is a single .100" gauge bass guitar string designed for long-scale basses with a scale length of up to 36 1/4 inches (921 mm). Part of the NYXL Nickel Wound Bass Singles line, this replacement string uses a reformulated nickel-plated steel wrap wire over NY Steel cores, delivering a familiar feel with accentuated harmonics. Round-wound construction and an uncoated finish preserve the bright, articulate tone that bassists expect from a heavy-gauge string. Whether replacing a worn-out low E or building a custom set, this single string fits 4-string, 5-string, and 6-string basses.

Who It's For

The NYXLB100 is the right choice for bassists who need a heavy-gauge replacement string for a long-scale bass. It suits players who want the bright, punchy tone of a round-wound nickel string with the added tuning stability and break resistance of NYXL construction. Ideal for rock, metal, and slap styles where a thick low end cuts through the mix. Manufactured at D'Addario's New York production facility.
