Fender Champion II 100 — 100-Watt Stage-Ready Combo with Onboard Effects

The Fender Champion II 100 is a 100-watt, two-channel solid-state combo built for players who need gig-grade headroom in one easy-to-carry enclosure. From bedroom practice to small club gigs, this model delivers Fender clean and overdrive tones alongside British and modern high-gain voicings. Two 30 cm Fender Special Design speakers wired to 8 ohms give the cabinet room-filling projection that single-cone combos struggle to match.

What Sets the Champion II 100 Apart

Unlike most amps in its tier, this combo pairs a full effects loop with four selectable voicings — Classic, Modern, British, and Hi Gain — so players move from glassy Fender cleans to British-stack crunch without swapping amps. Onboard reverb, delay/echo, chorus, tremolo, and Vibratone sit behind a TAP tempo button that locks delay times and tremolo speeds to song tempo.

100 Watts Through Dual 30 cm Speakers — Gig-Ready Headroom

Power and speaker surface area separate a practice amp from a gigging amp, and this model leans into both. The 100-watt output drives two 30 cm Fender Special Design speakers, which reviewers describe as Eminence-built units with balanced response for a stock OEM driver.

• Power Output: 100 W — drives a full band on small stages without breakup.
• Speakers: Two 30 cm Fender Special Design wired to 8 ohms total — dual-cone configuration moves more air than a single driver and projects further into the room.
• Total Impedance: 8 ohms

Two Channels, Nine Controls — Dial Any Style in Seconds

The control panel splits across two channels, each with its own FX Select, FX Level, and TAP tempo. Channel 1 keeps things simple with Volume, Treble, and Bass for clean tones, while Channel 2 adds Gain, Voice, and Mid for sculpting drive textures from edge-of-breakup to full metal.

• Channels: 2 selectable — independent EQ and FX on each side.
• Channel 1 Controls: Volume, Treble, Bass, FX Level, FX Select, TAP — a streamlined clean-channel strip.
• Channel 2 Controls: Gain, Volume, Voice, Treble, Mid, Bass, FX Level, FX Select, TAP — adds a voicing selector and Mid knob for full drive-channel control.

Effects Loop, Footswitch, Aux, and Headphone Output

A rear-panel effects loop with Preamp Out and Power Amp In jacks integrates outboard rack or pedalboard effects without loading the preamp stage. The included 2-button footswitch handles Channel Select and Effects On/Off, while the front panel adds a 3.5 mm aux input and a 6.35 mm headphone output for silent practice.

• Footswitch: 2-button (Channel Select, Effects On/Off), included — hands-free switching on stage.
• Effects Loop: Preamp Out / Power Amp In — clean integration of outboard effects.
• Aux Input: 3.5 mm — play along with backing tracks or a drum machine.
• Headphone Output: 6.35 mm

Who Should Buy the Champion II 100

This 100-watt combo is the right choice for guitarists who want one amp covering home practice, band rehearsals, and small-venue gigs without swapping gear. Pedalboard players will appreciate the transparent clean channel and dedicated effects loop, which keeps drive and time-based pedals sounding true. Beginners get a friendly front panel with no menus or apps, while intermediate players lean on the four voicings and TAP tempo to explore everything from country twang to djent. At 18.2 kg and 66 cm wide, it fits in most car boots alongside a pedalboard.

The Champion II Series — Fender's Modern Practice Amp Line

The Champion series has long been Fender's entry point for new players, but the Champion II generation raised the bar with redesigned voicings, expanded effects, and the same intuitive no-menu interface. Sitting at the top of the line, the 100-watt flagship joins the 50-watt and 25-watt siblings — gear that grows with the player from first practice to small club stage.
