D'Addario J1014 3/4M C 3/4 Struna za violončela

Reliable C String Replacement for 3/4 Size Cellos

The D'Addario Prelude Cello Single C String is a dedicated replacement string for 3/4 size cellos, designed to deliver the warm tone and stable pitch that student players need during their formative years. Built around a solid steel core, this medium tension C string provides the durability required to withstand daily practice, frequent tuning, and the inevitable learning-curve mishaps of beginning cellists. The unique damping process used in Prelude strings produces a warm tone with strong bow response, helping young players develop a clear, focused sound without fighting a harsh or overly bright timbre. Whether replacing a broken C string on a school-owned instrument or upgrading from a worn factory string, this single C delivers consistent performance across varying humidity and temperature conditions. The blue silking at the ball end is a signature D'Addario touch, marking the string as part of a line engineered entirely in their New York facilities.

Ideal for Student Cellists and School Music Programs

Student cellists who need a dependable replacement string will find this medium tension C string holds its tuning and survives the rigors of regular practice. The 3/4 scale sizing suits the majority of cellos used by middle school and early high school players, offering a balanced feel under the bow that supports proper technique development. School orchestra directors and private studio teachers will appreciate the string's resistance to humidity and temperature changes, which means fewer tuning interruptions during rehearsals and performances. The ball end design allows for quick string changes, making it practical for rental fleets, school instrument inventories, and family-owned cellos alike. As part of the broader Prelude line — widely regarded as one of the best-sounding student string families available — this C string pairs naturally with matching Prelude A, D, and G strings for a complete set.
