D'Addario NYXL 070 Samostojna struna za kitaro

NYXL Nickel Wound Singles — Replacement Electric Guitar String

The D'Addario NYXL 070 single string is a drop-in replacement or custom-set component for electric guitar players. Built on a high-carbon steel core with reformulated nickel-plated steel windings, this round wound string is engineered for stronger break resistance and up to 131% greater tuning stability compared to traditional nickel wound strings. The enhanced mid-range frequency response in the 1–3.5 kHz range adds presence and crunch that cuts through a band mix without sounding harsh. Designed, engineered, and manufactured at D'Addario's New York production facility, each single is sold individually so players can replace a broken string, swap a gauge, or build a fully customized set without buying a full pack.

Who It's For

This single replacement string is the right choice for electric guitar players who need a heavy-gauge option for a down-tuned or baritone setup, or who want to build a custom set with non-standard gauges. It suits rock, metal, and hard rock styles where the .070" gauge delivers thick low-end punch and aggressive mid-range bite. The break-resistant high-carbon steel core and improved tuning stability make it well suited to gigging players who bend aggressively and need a string that holds pitch through heavy use. Sold individually, it is also a practical option for anyone who has lost or worn out a single string and wants to keep the rest of a working set intact.
