The Fender Redondo CE Sapphire Blue brings the bold aesthetic and stage-ready electronics of Fender's California Debut Series to a dreadnought acoustic-electric platform. This model pairs a laminated spruce top with basswood back and sides, producing a balanced tonal profile that handles both aggressive strumming and delicate fingerstyle with clarity. The Sapphire Blue finish gives this guitar a distinctive visual identity on stage, while the onboard Fender preamp with integrated electronic tuner ensures players can plug in and perform without additional equipment. Built for right-handed players, this 6-string dreadnought delivers Fender's unmistakable DNA at an accessible price point in the acoustic-electric category.

What Sets This Guitar Apart

The California Debut Redondo CE stands out through its combination of laminate construction and stage-ready electronics. The laminated spruce top provides consistent tonal response while offering added resilience against humidity and temperature changes compared to solid wood alternatives. The onboard Fender preamp system includes volume and tone controls plus an integrated electronic tuner with on/off switch and low battery indicator light, making this guitar a complete performance tool straight out of the box. The iconic Fender six-in-line headstock places all tuners in a linear row for quick, comfortable adjustments and a straight string pull that helps the guitar stay in tune.

Body Construction and Tonal Character

The dreadnought body shape delivers the deep, robust tone that has made this format a favorite among strummers and flatpickers across genres. The laminated spruce top provides clear articulation and dynamic range, while basswood back and sides add warmth and balanced resonance to the overall sound. The satin finish protects the body while maintaining a natural feel under the arm during extended playing sessions.
